The microphone of my Clam headphones doesn’t work on my notebook/pc, what can I do?
1. The microphone of the Clam only works via Bluetooth. Do you use the headphones wired? Then the microphone is not recognized.
2. Does the microphone not work via Bluetooth? Check the settings of your notebook or PC and the program you are using. Make sure all audio settings are set to “Headset (Clam Hands-Free AG Audio)”.
Do you want to be sure whether it’s your headphones or the settings? Then test the microphone by calling with phone via Bluetooth. Does the microphone work? Then it’s the settings on your notebook or PC. Is the microphone not working? Then it’s your Clam.
3. You can easily reset your headphones by briefly connecting the audio cable (aux). Often sound and connection problems with your Clam will then be solved.
4. Is the microphone still not working? If so, drain the battery of your headphones completely and then fully charge it. This might solve the problem.
How do I see how much battery I have left?
On the iPhones, iPods and iPads you can see your headphones battery status in the status bar.
What is the length of the cable?
The Clam Headphones come with a 100cm detachable fabric cable.
I have sound problems or can’t turn my headphones off, what should I do?
Is the sound interfering or is the light blinking white and you can’t turn your headphones on or off? Then briefly connect the audio cable (aux) to the headphones to reset them. Does the light still blink? If so, drain the battery of your headphones completely and then fully charge it again. This should solve the problem.
